There is no lack of talent across the United States, that’s for sure. With the endless array of talent competitions on TV, a star is born every couple months. Some of those stars go on to make a big impact on the industry while others stay in their comfort zone. One young talent who has been making a name for herself since day one is the 14-year-old Darci Lynne Farmer.
I can’t believe it’s already been a year since my audition aired on America's Got Talent!! My life has been an amazing…
Darci’s Rise To Fame
Darci Lynne is a ventriloquist who earned her fame after her big 2017 win on America’s Got Talent alongside her puppet, Petunia. Farmer performs a comedy-singing act where Petunia, a girly rabbit, loves to steal the spotlight. Since her win, the inseparable duo has performed on various talk shows, award shows, and even had their own Las Vegas show.
While Petunia is her go-to gal, Farmer has introduced several other friends during her segments that fans have been loving.
Her Big Return
America’s Got Talent has launched their latest spin-off series, America’s Got Talent: The Champions. The series “brings together the world’s most talented, memorable, and all-around fan-favorite acts from the past seasons of AGT, spanning 194 territories.”
Farmer was invited onto the spin-off series where she brought along an old pal; her puppet Oscar. The crowd and the judges were ecstatic to see the Season 12 winner back on the AGT stage. The duo wasted no time stealing the show by singing a duet of “Nutbush City Limits” and “Proud Mary.” Their rockin’ performance had the crowd fired up as they sang and danced along.
Farmer showcased her powerhouse vocals between Oscar’s verses and the judges couldn’t get enough of it. The performance ended with Oscar taking the mic for one impressive solo run. These two just set the standards high for the rest of the competition!
