LeAnn Rimes And Kimberly Williams-Paisley Are The Latest Stars To Join The Cast Of 9-1-1 Nashville
The upcoming drama series is the newest addition to the 9-1-1 franchise.
The 9-1-1 series was first launched in 2018, focusing on the lives of first responders in Los Angeles.
The show quickly gained popularity, leading co-creators Ryan Murphy and Tim Minear to expand the universe with 9-1-1: Lone Star, based in Texas. This spin-off recently wrapped up in February 2025 after five seasons.
Now, as one chapter closes, a new one begins, and this time the franchise is heading to Nashville for its next installment.
Earlier this year, Deadline reported that 9-1-1 Nashville received a straight-to-series order from ABC. It is set to be aired for the 2025-2026 season.
Although many details about the show are still being kept under wraps by the network, the cast is slowly starting to be revealed.
Not long ago, it was announced that NCIS: Los Angeles star Chris O’Donnell and Grey’s Anatomy alum Jessica Capshaw have signed on to join the series.
Now, Variety has confirmed that country star LeAnn Rimes and actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley will also be joining the cast of the upcoming series.

Of course, fans know LeAnn Rimes as one of country music’s biggest stars.
She’s an eight-time Grammy nominee and the voice behind hits like “Blue” and “Can’t Fight the Moonlight.” She also made history as the youngest solo artist to earn a Grammy, snagging her first win at 14 years old.
But Rimes has a long list of acting credentials, too. She has had past roles in shows like Days of Our Lives and Moesha, along with appearances in films like Logan Lucky.
Kimberly Williams-Paisey is no stranger to the television screen either. Many country fans may know her as the wife of singer Brad Paisley, but she also has an impressive career as an actress.
Williams-Paisley has appeared in numerous television series, such as Two and a Half Men and the ABC sitcom According to Jim.
She has starred in several films, including Father of the Bride and Sister Swap. She is also the current host of the FOX reality show Farmer Wants a Wife.
As of now, an official air date for 9-1-1 Nashville has not been announced. However, rumors suggest the show may be released sometime this fall.
