Lisa Marie Presley will be honored with a public memorial service, Graceland has announced.
Lisa Marie Presley, the only daughter of Elvis and Priscilla Presley, died Thursday (January 12) at the age of 54. It was announced Monday that she will be remembered in a public memorial service held at Graceland. A statement posted to Graceland’s website indicates that the public is invited to attend the service that will be held on Sunday, January 22 at 9:00 a.m. at Graceland Mansion in Memphis.
The statement also requests that “the family encourages all who wish to send something do so in the form of a donation to The Elvis Presley Charitable Foundation.” The EPCF was created in 1984 to honor The King’s memory and continue his tradition of generosity and community service. A rep for Presley’s daughter confirmed that Lisa Marie will be buried at Graceland next to her son, Benjamin Keough, who died in 2020 at the age of 27.

Lisa Marie did not live in Memphis, but often made trips to Graceland for attend celebrations of Elvis’s birthday and the anniversary of his death. Lisa Marie became a joint heir of her father’s estate upon his death. After her grandparents died, she inherited his entire estate of which she sold a majority in 2005. But, she maintained ownership of Graceland, the 13 acres around the mansion, and the items located inside the home.
Lisa Marie most recently returned to Graceland on Sunday (January 8), just five days before she died, to celebrate what would have been her father’s 88th birthday.
