Luke Bryan’s 15-Year-Old Son, Bo, Is Learning How To Drive – Luke Gets Real About The Experience

Bo currently has his learner’s permit, and Luke and Caroline are teaching him how to drive. Luke spoke with Audacy’s Katie & Company about the experience this summer:

“He is not a very good driver right now,” Luke admitted. “So we’re having to work with him pretty hard.”

Luke said Bo is used to driving other things around the farm, and thought that would translate to driving a car on real roads. “He thinks because he can operate a 4-wheeler or Polaris that he is quite proficient, but he is not, I assure you,” Luke said.

Bo Made A Request For His 1st Car, And Luke Said “No Way”

Luke spoke with Katie & Company again more recently, and shared how Bo’s driving is coming along:

“He’s finally got it going,” Luke said. He added, “…we got him rockin’ and rollin’, and now we’re just trying to figure out what will be the first vehicle in his life.”

Bo already made it clear what he’d like his first car to be. Luke shared his comical response to his son’s request…which was basically, “no way.”

He tried to pick it out,” Luke said. “We realized real quick, ‘You’re not getting that.’ He wants a big truck and we’re going to get him something, but won’t get him what he wants. Let’s say that.”

Bo celebrates his 16th birthday in March. Hopefully he will end up loving his first vehicle, whatever it is!

Head below to hear Luke talk more about Bo’s driving journey. Best of luck to him (and to Luke and Caroline)!
