30-year-old Chase Holderby from Merritt Island, Florida was arrested at the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival after chugging two beers in less than 30 seconds and getting so belligerent that he almost fell off a Disney Skyliner platform.
Walt Disney World’s EPOCT park security said Chase was being very loud and stumbling around the American Adventure Pavilion after chugging the beers and started high-fiving and shaking people’s hands who were in the area.
Shortly after gaining a lot of attention, members of his party tried to calm him down and he got into a verbal dispute with them near the Japan Pavilion.
Security was alerted of his actions and caught up with him by the time Chase made it to the Morocco Pavilion and they told him he had to leave.
“We followed Holderby to the International Gateway exit while he took his shirt off and continued asking what he had done wrong,” an Orange County Sheriff’s report said, according to FOX.
The report further stated that as Chase headed toward the Disney Skyliner gondolas, he continued to scream.
“Once in the line queue, he continued to act belligerent and cause the crowd of people in line to become alarmed,” the deputy said. “While attempting to get him onto the physical gondola car, he wouldn’t initially get in and was dangerously close to falling into the area beneath where the attraction operates.”
Park staff had to stop the transportation system for his safety, “inconveniencing and delaying all other riders.”
Chase was then arrested on the spot and charged with disorderly intoxication and trespassing.
