During the interview, the singer emphasized the pride and support she receives from both her mother and husband, who have been integral to her journey “every step of the way.”

“I mean I couldn’t do any of this without her,” Miranda told Hall. “We had eight shows, she came to nine. I think my mom was here when no one was here.”

The Power Of Community In Tough Times

Miranda also shared the tremendous support received from friends and family during her mother’s challenging battle with breast cancer. She reflected on how such experiences touch the lives of many and bring people together in both difficult and uplifting ways.

“It really gives you a lot of perspective, and it really reiterated to me just how many people that it touches in bad and good ways,” she explained. “People come out of the woodwork to support you, and you don’t understand the toughness of that all the stress on the entire family until you’ve gone through it.”

Triumph Over Cancer

Following months of treatment, Miranda revealed that her mother Beverly has been cancer-free for a year, marking a positive outcome in their challenging journey.

Miranda shared details about her mother’s cancer battle with PEOPLE in June 2022, “She’s been through a whole lot, but she’s doing really well, and she’s ready to roll.”

“I was able to be with her through the hardest parts. She’s unstoppable. She’s just been so strong and positive through the whole thing. It’s a good lesson for people to take away from a journey like that: Even though it’s a really scary place to be, the more positive, the better.”
