Months after Miranda Lambert revealed her secret wedding to NYPD officer Brendan McLoughlin, the world still has their doubts about the relationship.
But, Miranda is not having any of it.
Years ago, she was married to country singer Blake Shelton for a number of years. Then, they divorced and eventually began dating other people. Miranda ended her relationship with R&B singer Anderson East, and then rumors started flying about her dating behavior among other things.

Those rumors persisted for months and were fueled by an online battle between hardcore “Ran Fans” and people claiming they knew the “truth” about it all.
Well, fast-forward several months. Seemingly out-of-the-blue, Miranda posts photos of her and her hubby on Instagram, with a caption revealing that she and Brendan tied the knot a month back – and this is the first any of her fans had ever heard of him!

Ever since that point, Brendan has become quite a focal point in her life on social media. But, when the news first broke, many people started to pick apart his life and his choices – like when he welcomed a baby with a woman he’d been involved with for only a short period of time.

All of these things added up to a lot of doubt and questions in the minds of hardcore Miranda Lambert fans and critics alike. Some even chose to speak out and express their thoughts on her marriage publicly – which is known to be impolite.
Sharing a few clips of her Sunday evening on Instagram, Miranda showed Brendan frying chicken in a cast-iron skillet and added a coy caption alongside it.
“I’m sweet tea sippin’ on the front porch sittin’ while my hubby fries chicken and I’m pickin’ these straaangs. “
But one fan seemed to strike a nerve with Miranda when she commented on their marriage underneath the photo…and Miranda snapped back at her.

A woman on Instagram commented “It won’t last” insinuating that their marriage was going to be short-lived. What this has to do with the photo she posted is beyond most people, but you know how folks get behind their keyboard.
While normally, artists and celebrities don’t get bogged down in the commentary on their personal lives…this one must have struck a nerve in Miranda – because she responded quickly, and with a searing remark.
“Sure won’t! I’m gonna eat every piece of it! Can’t waste chicken!”
There’s not much to be said after that…and it sure shut this commentator down without much fuss.
And as Miranda says “It All Comes Out In The Wash” anyway…
