The TODAY Show celebrated the start of Jenna Bush Hager’s maternity leave on Friday (August 2), and that same day she welcomed her baby boy into the world!
People reports that Jenna gave birth at 9:02 AM on Friday, and that her son weighed 7lbs, 5oz, and measured 19.29 inches.
Jenna and her husband, Henry Hager, are already parents to two girls, six-year-old Margaret “Mila” and four-year-old Poppy.
When Jenna shared her pregnancy news on TODAY in April, she said the girls found out about their new baby brother through their Easter baskets.

Now that the baby is here, Jenna tells People her daughters are “thrilled” to have a little brother.
As for what Jenna and Henry chose to name their little one, they decided to keep everything in the family. For his first name, they chose “Henry” in honor of his father, but the name is one that has been carried throughout the Hager family.
“He is named Henry after many on his father’s side including his dear dad and his paternal grandfather,” Jenna explained.
As for his middle name, it’s “Harold,” which is also a family name. “Harold comes from my maternal grandfather, Pa, who I loved dearly and was unable to keep a son long enough to name,” Jenna revealed.
The new mom of three shared they would be calling baby Henry “Hal” for short, and that his sisters have already taken to calling him, “Hal Pal.”

In two separate posts, Jenna shared some photos taken shortly after baby Hal made his grand debut. The first set of photos contains a snapshot at the end with her father, former President George W. Bush, and her mother, Laura.
The second set of photos shows Mila and Poppy interacting with their baby brother. Those pictures are sure to melt your heart!
