One of the most beloved Duck Dynasty cast members is one of the youngest, and has been through the most, even at her young age. Mia Robertson, the only daughter of Jase and Missy, captured the hearts of America during the show’s eleven season run. So much so, that the fans voted a speech she gave during one of the earlier season’s as their second favorite moment in all of Duck Dynasty.
Mia was born with a cleft lip and palate, which has forced her to undergo several surgeries to help her development. During this fan favorite clip from the show, she was preparing to have the fifth surgery of her lifetime.

The now 14-year-old is getting ready to undergo yet another surgery this summer, according to a new tweet from her mom.
“After a long day of doctors’ appointments & travel, we heard good news & not-so-good news about Mia’s progress. Knowing that our God the the Great Physician is the best news of all. He’ll never fail our girl. Please pray for Mia,” she wrote. “Another surgery is scheduled this summer.”
