NASCAR Driver Greg Biffle & His Family Are Feared Dead After A Plane Crash

Sadly, it has since been confirmed that Greg Biffle, his wife Cristina, son Ryder, and daughter Emma were among those killed in the crash. Three additional victims have been identified as Dennis Dutton, his son Jack, and Craig Wadsworth.

On Thursday (December 18) around 10:20am local time, a private plane owned by NASCAR driver Greg Biffle crashed at the Statesville Regional Airport, which is just north of Charlotte, North Carolina.
The plane’s owner is GB Aviation Leasing, LLC., which is a company owned by Biffle. The plane is available for lease as a private charter.
According to Yahoo News, the Federal Aviation Administration confirmed there were six people on board, but did not identify the any of them. A source who was briefed on the incident told outlets that “six people – a pilot and five others – were killed in the crash. However, Iredell County Sheriff Darren Campbell could only confirm that “several” people died, but didn’t reveal how many were on the plane.
Iredell Firewire shared a video on their official Facebook page of first responders showing up to the crash.
Due to Biffle’s ownership of the plane, fans and friends are fearing the worst, that Greg Biffle and his family were aboard the plane when it crashed. A Facebook post by Internet Personality Cletus McFarland also has caused a panic.
A Friend Is Claiming Greg & His Family Were On The Plane
Cletus McFarland, whose real name is Garrett Mitchell, is a prominent personality in the racing space. He took to Facebook and confirmed that Greg and his family were on board the plane, and how he knew.
“Unfortunately, I can confirm Greg Biffle, his wife Cristina, daughter Emma, and son Ryder were on that plane…because they were on their way to spend the afternoon with us. We are devastated. I’m so sorry to share this.”

The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating.
Another NASCAR driver Kenny Wallace has revealed that Craig Wadsworth, a figure in the NASCAR community was also aboard the flight.
