As one of the most accomplished actresses in Hollywood, you would expect Nicole Kidman to have major plans in celebration of her 50th trip around the sun. However, for the Oscar-winning actress, her birthday is just another excuse to spend time with her family.
While walking the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of The Beguiled starring the Australian actress, Kidman shared her plans for the momentous occasion, centered around some well-deserved time with Keith Urban and the two daughters they share, 8-year-old Sunday and 6-year-old Faith.
“[I want] to hang with my divine husband and my kids and my sister,” Kidman told E! News on the red carpet. “I’ve already been to Australia and saw my mom and it’s too far for her to travel but my sister is coming over with all her children. She has six kids.”
So what does the adorable family have planned exactly to commemorate her special day? While the actress kept their plans private for the most part, Kidman shared she doesn’t plan on having a major party and prefers to just spend time with her family.
“That’s it for me,” Kidman continued. “I don’t need any big parties; I just need my family around me. If I have my family around me I am happy.”
While they may have been forced to wait until they were well into their thirties for their paths to finally cross, the two haven’t wasted a single second ever since. Kidman and Urban met at G’Day LA, an event honoring Australians, fiercely supporting each other at all turns.
