Parker McCollum Abruptly Ends Show Due To Illness
On Saturday, January 25th, rising country star Parker McCollum was forced to end his concert early. While headlining a show at Penn State, it became clear that the 32-year-old was not feeling his best.
After just a few songs, McCollum addressed the audience and said:
“Penn State, I apologize sincerely. I’m going to call the show, and I’ll give each and every single one of y’all your money back. It is from the deepest part of my heart that I apologize for having to do this. I’ve never done this in all the years I’ve been singing country music.”
He reiterated his sincere apologies and asked his fans for their forgiveness for the disappointing turn of events.
State College, PA…I am sorry about tonight…was getting pretty sick before the show and tried to make it through. Sadly, I couldn’t make it happen. Definitely not how we wanted the show to go, but we are going to make it up to you very soon. Details will be coming soon.

Parker McCollum Was As Sick As He Has Ever Been In His “Entire Life” Following The Show
Yesterday (Jan 28), Parker McCollum posted a video online, providing his fans with a health update and clarifying what happened in Pennsylvania. He explained that he had begun feeling sick during the meet-and-greet prior to the show but decided to push through anyway.
After leaving the stage, the Texas native says he became “just as violently sick as I’ve ever been in my entire life.” He adds:
“Spent about the next 48 hours basically in the fetal position, just incredibly sick, as just unbelievably ill as I’ve ever been in my entire life. Wish that on nobody.”
