In October 2020 after five years of dating, Blake Shelton finally asked Gwen Stefani to marry him.
“Hey @gwenstefani thanks for saving my 2020… And the rest of my life.. I love you. I heard a YES!,” Shelton wrote on Instagram.

Since then, the couple has done plenty of interviews where reporters ask about wedding plans. Blake has said that he is letting Gwen to most of the planning, but his only hope was that it would take place during the summer of 2021.
On Friday (June 11), Gwen had a surprise bridal shower with a few family members where a photo was posted with the words, “She’s getting married!” This led fans to believe the wedding would be very soon!

But thanks to some paparazzi photos obtained by Page Six, people think that the pair may have secretly done the deed. On Saturday (June 12) they were spotted in Santa Monica, California and Gwen was wearing another ring on her finger other than her engagement ring! Many news outlets – and fans – say that it looked to be a wedding band!
She normally only wears her engagement ring on her ring finger, which is why people are so convinced that they tied the knot secretly over the weekend!

While the band she was wearing is gorgeous, we do not think they are married and here’s why:
- The surprise bridal shower was on Friday afternoon and these photos were taken less than 24 hours later!
- Blake is not wearing a wedding ring.
- Blake’s mom was in Texas celebrating his birthday. We don’t think Blake would get married without his own mom in attendance!
