A cute puppy in Fair Oaks Ranch, Texas was rescued by police officers after it had gotten its head stuck in a cornhole board. The dog was only 10 weeks old and his name is Ace.
The family said they had been outside working in the garden when Ace somehow managed to squeeze his head through one of the holes in the board. They tried their best to release the poor pup, but unfortunately, they weren’t able to get him out.
After many attempts, the dog’s owner, Kurt Leslie decided it was best to just call 911. A couple of officers responded to the call and drove out to investigate and decided the best thing to do was cut the board to release Ace.
Two of the family members held Ace to keep him calm while an officer sawed a part of the cornhole board. It worked, and they were finally able to release him. Ace didn’t suffer any injuries during the process and was just happy to be free.
Leslie said in her own words on NextDoor, “We had an Ace in the hole!!! We called our local heroes at the Fair Oaks Ranch Police Department and in moments Officer Michael Maddox was on the scene followed shortly by Officer Amanda Hinojosa. It took a few minutes to formulate a plan and the officers sprung into action. With two of us holding Ace and Officer Maddox using his superior saw skills, Ace was liberated from the evil hole. Thanks to Officer Maddox and Officer Hinojosa for coming to Ace’s aid.”
