Sylvester Stallone first brought his now-infamous Rambo character to life in 1982’s First Blood – but now, nearly 40 years later, Rambo is back in action with a whole new set of problems. But luckily for him, he’s somehow isolated himself on a farm and built a massive series of secret passageways underground.

This new movie, which follows up on 2008’s Rambo, is written by Stallone himself with Matt Cirulnick and was directed by Adrian Grunberg (Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, Get the Gringo, Edge of Darkness).
“I’ve lived in a world of death,” Rambo softly eeps out at the beginning of the trailer. “I’ve watched people I’ve loved die. Some fast with a bullet, some not enough left to bury.”
Rambo has clearly aged since his last movie, and the character is now a cowboy on an isolated farm who likes to ride horses – and now is killing the people who “drew first blood” while Billy Ray Cyrus’ “Old Town Road” remix plays.
Aptly titled Rambo: Last Blood – it’s clear that this action-packed gunslinger flick will end with Rambo drawing the final blows to those who have wronged him.
The movie will be released to theaters starting September 20th, 2019. Watch the very first trailer below and let us know what you think in the comments.
