What a night! Reba McEntire hosted CMA Country Christmas for the very first time, and boy, was it fun! Every year, the Grand Ole Opry is turned into a Winter Wonderland for the festive show. For the last several years, Sugarland singer Jennifer Nettles served as the host, but this year Reba McEntire stepped in and brought the show back to its country roots with performances from Alan Jackson, Chris Young, and many more!

A total of 19 performances took place from 12 artists, including McEntire herself who performed solo, in a duet, and in a group, proving that she was the right woman for the job! Throughout the night, she became the fifth member of Little Big Town and joined them for a harmonious version of “Mary, Did You Know” and kicked off the show with a rousing duet with Kelsea Ballerini to “Jingle Bells.”

She also closed the show with her solo rendition of “Holly Jolly Christmas,” which was a fantastic finish to an enjoyable night of music and cheer!

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Christmas show without Santa Claus! He surprised everyone and roamed about the crowd while McEntire’s magical rendition of “Holly Jolly Christmas.” People of all ages were happy to see jolly ol’ St. Nick, and so were folks watching from home!
