There is no denying that Reese Witherspoon‘s daughter, Ava Phillippe, is her child. Many say that mother and daughter look like twins, or remark how Ava looks exactly like her mom when she was her age.
21-year-old Ava is Reese’s only daughter. She shares Ava and 17-year-old son Deacon with her ex-husband Ryan Phillippe and has an eight-year-old son, Tennessee, with her current husband Jim Toth.
Ava and her mama’s similarities were made all the more evident when the duo posed for a holiday photo in coordinating Christmas sweaters.
Reese shared a picture on social media of her and Ava rocking some festive sweaters with snowflake details. Her sweater was red with white detailing, while Ava’s was white with red detailing.
They each styled their outfits in their own way, with Reese opting to wear a pair of black jeans and some dangly earrings. Ava paired her sweater with some tan pants and a coordinating headband. Both mom and daughter wore red lipstick to tie their looks together.
As adorable as the photo turned out, Reese confessed she had to “beg” Ava to take it with her.
“Ok. It’s 100 true that I had to beg her to wear a matching Holiday sweater…. but isn’t it CUTE??!!” she asked.

Reese and Ava are aware of how similar they look. Back in 2017 Reese spoke with Glamour about what it’s like to always be “twinning” with her daughter.
“We are very close. I feel really lucky that I have this amazing human being in my life that I can get to travel with and share my love of fashion and makeup. It’s just awesome,” she said.
