Breaking news came out earlier today when it was revealed that Dog The Bounty Hunter had suffered some sort of heart emergency – and had been hospitalized just months after his wife’s tragic passing in June.

Earlier today a report from TMZ stated that the reality tv star and famous bounty hunter was admitted to a Colorado hospital after getting serious chest pains. Doctors believe it was a heart attack, but they are taking more tests to confirm and find out what happened.
This scary incident comes just months after his wife Beth Chapman passed away from Stage 4 throat cancer back in June – and he’s been dealing with a lot in the time since.
Beyond his wife’s passing, Dog has also had to deal with his store getting robbed a month ago and nearly becoming the victim of a $400,000 scam originating somewhere in the United Arab Emirates.
According to the article, doctors are still working out if Dog will need surgery to fix the issue or what the best action is for him at this point.
Even though all of this stress and heartache after losing his wife, Dog has continued to make media appearances and press blurbs for his new show on WGN America – something that he’s likely contracted for.
Now, a rep for Dog has taken to the star’s official Twitter account to give fans an update on his condition after doctors have had a while to look after him.
“I can confirm Dog is under doctor’s care and is resting comfortably. Thank you for all of your well wishes- keep ’em coming” the rep wrote.
It appears that while Dog has survived this heart attack, he’s being kept for observation until they figure out what happened and how to best get him well again.
We continue to pray for Dog and a speedy recovery. Read the rep’s full statement below.
