The Trio Riley Green, Zach Top, & Justin Moore Deliver Stellar Rendition Of “Leave Them Boys Alone” In Honor Of Dean Dillon
Dean Dillon is a prolific musician, but he is best known for his songwriting hits. If you have ever heard “Tennessee Whiskey,” then you were blessed by Dillon’s genius.
Last night, October 9th, an event was held in his honor, Songs & Stories of Dean Dillon. The event featured incredible artists performing some of Dillon’s greatest hits, including his longtime friend and collaborator George Strait.
Strait honored his friend and the man responsible for writing many of his hits by singing “Here For A Good Time” on the star-studded stage.

Riley Green, Zach Top, & Justin Moore Sing Dillon’s “Leave Them Boys Alone”
Dillon co-wrote “Leave Them Boys Alone” with Hank Williams Jr. Gary Stewart, and Tanya Tucker, who all brought the country classic to life.
Hank Williams Jr. released the classic song in 1983 as part of his Strong Stuff album. Collaborators on the track included Ernest Tubb and Waylon Jennings.
At last night’s event, Riley Green took to the stage to perform his rendition of the classic hit. After singing a few verses, he thrilled the crowd by inviting Zach Top to join him.
Zach Top, a new rising star, delivered a line or two in his classic country voice before they brought Justin Moore onto the stage.
The solo performance became a collaborative effort between the trio, who delighted the crowd. What a perfect way to honor the man who has collaborated with many of country music’s greats. Watch the performance below.
