For years, we’ve known that Sara Evans has some talented kids. In 2017, Sara invited her daughter Olivia to join her on stage at a private event during CMA Fest to sing “Tennessee Whiskey” and we were blown away by her talent.

Just one month later, Olivia sang backup vocals for her mom during a performance on Live with Kelly & Ryan. Since then, they formed a family band called Sara Evans and The Barker Family Band, featuring her brother Matt, her sister Leslie, her daughter Olivia and son Avery.

On November 29, CMT announced a Christmas special titled “A Tennessee Kind of Christmas,” which would be airing on December 8th. Performances would be given by Pam Tillis, Wynonna Judd, Billy Ray Cyrus, Amy Grant, Sara Evans, and more at eight popular locations around Nashville.

But, it turns out, Evans didn’t perform solo, she brought along her talented daughter Olivia to help her with a beautiful rendition of “O Holy Night.” For Evans, it is an emotional song for her, telling CMT she “cries almost every time she sings the song.”

Standing on the stage at what looks to be the historic Ryman Auditorium, the “Born to Fly” singer started the song solo, while Olivia came in for the chorus with gorgeous harmonies. Their rendition takes a powerful turn in the middle when Evans belts out the melody at the top of her lungs, proving she hasn’t lost her touch.
