Looks like Scotty McCreery is ready for Christmas!

Getting into the spirit of the season, McCreery surprised fans with an early present, a festive recording of him reading classic children’s poem, “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas.”

“I’m feeling jolly and full of the Christmas spirit today, so thought I’d share with you my reading of “‘Twas The Night Before Christmas,'” McCreery wrote on his Facebook.

The country singer’s recitation is laced with his signature country twang, his recording sure to get even the Grinchiest of hearts into the Christmas spirit. McCreery is no doubt feeling extra “jolly” this holiday season, this Christmas marking the first since his fiancé, Gabi Dugal, said yes to spending forever by his side.

McCreery and Dugal met back in their kindergarten days in Garner, North Carolina, the charming country singer making such an impression on his future fiancé that she wrote “Mrs. Gabi McCreery” in her diary even way back then.
