Moments before she was supposed to be on stage performing, the country legend was airlifted to a Nashville hospital.
Tanya Tucker, known for her incredible career as a country music legend, has been hospitalized following a series of events while touring in South Dakota.
According to KSFY, a spokesperson for the singer revealed that Tucker had not been feeling well a day ahead of her concert in Watertown last Friday (Oct 7th) and decided to visit a local clinic.
On Friday, her condition worsened, forcing her to cancel the performance just an hour prior to curtain call. Upon her return to the clinic, they deemed she was suffering from pneumonia and it was so bad they chose to airlift her to a Nashville-area hospital for further care.
All of her future performance dates have been canceled as a result, with the venue optimistic they will have her return next year.
We are praying for Tanya during this terrible illness, and keeping her in our thoughts.
