How Will The Finalists Be Determined On Season 28 Of The Voice?
Two of the six finalists for Season 28 of The Voice were revealed during the December 1 episode. Coaches Reba and Michael each picked one finalist from their teams.
Reba surprised fans by choosing Aubrey Nicole as her finalist, while Michael picked Jazz McKenzie.
Coaches Niall Horan and Snoop Dogg will follow their lead next week. After their contestants perform on December 8, the two coaches will each pick one to advance to the finale.
But the “eliminated” contestants still have a chance to become finalists. That’s where the viewers come in!

As an article on the NBC website explains, two members of the Top 6 will be selected “in an unprecedented way” this season.
The contestants that the coaches do not choose to advance to the finale enter a voting pool after their playoff episode airs. Then, fans can vote for their favorite contestant. Whoever earns the highest number of votes becomes a finalist.
For example, after the December 1 episode, Aaron Nichols, Ryan Mitchell, Trinity, Rob Cole, Peyton Kyle, and Max Chambers entered a voting pool. That same evening, fans cast their votes for their favorite contestant. We now have to wait and see which one will advance to the finale!
The same pattern will repeat with Teams Niall and Snoop, with fans voting for the last member of the Top 6 after the episode on December 8.
When Is The Season 28 Finale Of The Voice?
Aubrey Nicole, Jazz McKenzie, and the four yet-to-be-determined finalists on Season 28 of The Voice will vie for the winning title during the live finale. The finale will air across two nights: December 15 and December 16.
Additional details about the finale, including guest performers, have yet to be announced. Stay tuned for more information!
