Just yesterday (July 23), Thomas Rhett and his wife Lauren Akins announced to the world that they are expecting – again!
The couple married in 2012, but it wasn’t until 2017 that they decided to start a family. They two decided to adopt a young girl from Uganda, and almost as quickly as they became a family – they found out that Lauren was actually pregnant, too!

They brought home Willa Gray from Uganda and a few short months later, they welcomed Ada James to the world.

Rhett was a guest on Bobby Bones’ award-winning podcast, the BobbyCast, where they talked about the singer’s rise to fame, his family life – including the news that he and his Lauren are expecting their third child. The couple announced the exciting news on Instagram.

In her post, Lauren revealed the gender – another little girl – and that she would be making her arrival “early next year,” but gave no specifics. Thankfully, Thomas told us the exact due date on the BobbyCast.
“Just when life could not get any crazier, we’re having another girl,” Rhett said.
Bobby then asked, “When is the baby gonna be here, do you know?”
Rhett revealed Lauren’s due date is, “February 3rd.”
