Between her five Grammys and his 41 No.1 songs, Nashville sweethearts Faith Hill and Tim McGraw have a lot to offer when it comes to music. America’s favorite power couple acted as key advisors for all four teams on the eleventh season of The Voice just in time for the cutthroat knockout rounds.
Contestants were in shock when Hill and McGraw were introduced as their key advisors, noticeably eager to hear from two of the most influential couples in the music industry. “I feel like I’m not worthy to hug you!” said one contestant as Hill took him into a meaningful embrace. Even though they just celebrated their twentieth wedding anniversary, the pair’s love for one another is clear through the way they speak in regards to one another’s music.
“There’s no one I respect more than Tim when it comes to first of all song selection and stage performance,” says Faith. “I don’t have to say this, but it’s true!”
“Faith is just a soulful singer,” admires McGraw. “She’s not going to sugar coat anything for you, she’s going to tell you what she really feels because she wants to be impacted emotionally by music...And she’s going to let you know about that.”
