Tracy Lawrence shows off new ink in an Instagram video he posted on Friday (July 28, 2023).
“So, we’re here with my buddy, Travis Harper. He is doing my country music ‘Mount Rushmore.’ George Strait, George Jones, Keith Whitley, and Merle Haggard,” Lawrence says pointing out the country music icons in his new tattoo. “So he’s been working on this all day. We’re getting real close to being done.”
Lawrence continues in the video, “Go to instagram and check out Travis Harper. His nature scenes and his wildlife are absolutely amazing.”
His post was captioned, “Getting real close to being done with my country music Mount Rushmore tattoo! @georgestrait, @thegeorgejones, #keithwhitley and @merlehaggardofficial.”

This isn’t Lawrence’s first tattoo!
Lawrence just posted a video almost exactly a month ago (June 29, 2023) showing off a different killer tattoo on his arm.
The “Paint Me A Birmingham” singer posted a video to instagram of last month’s tattoo crediting Jason Aldean for the artist recommendation. The tattoo artist, Bubba Irwin, is heard in the video stating, “I’m a big fan of Tracy Lawrence. I’ve been a fan of him for my whole life, and so it’s kind of surreal to get to tattoo him.” Lawrence then says “So, Bubba has done tattoos for Jason Aldean, which is who hooked me up with him, Kane Brown and Gary Allen who I’m out on the road with.” The end of the video reveals the flawless tattoo: a lighthouse by the water.
His captions said, “Inked up by one of the best, @bubbaitattoos!
