Season 28 Of The Voice Premiered On September 22nd – What Were The Ratings?
The ratings for the Season 28 premiere of The Voice have started to trickle in, along with viewers’ opinions about the new season.
Season 28 of The Voice started on Monday, September 22nd. Viewers got to see some incredible and emotional blind auditions, including one that moved coach Reba McEntire to tears.
We also witnessed the introduction of a new rule, known as the “Carson Callback.” This twist gives host Carson Daly the power to provide a second chance to a contestant who didn’t turn any chairs during the blind auditions.
Daly gave his “Carson Callback” to 25-year-old Ryan Mitchell. Mitchell had 24 hours to prepare a new song for the coaches and audition again. Mitchell’s second audition aired during the season’s subsequent episode on September 23rd. His hard work paid off, and he landed on Team Reba!
