During the April 12th episode of At Home With The Robertsons, Willie and Korie Robertson’s new show on Facebook Watch, they had former Bachelorette star Hannah Brown stop by their house. Brown rose to fame after she competed for Colton Underwood’s heart on The Bachelor before being named The Bachelorette. She also competed on Dancing With The Stars and won Season 28.
But before she tried to find love on television, she was a pageant queen, even competing in the Miss USA beauty pageant. Brown competed as Miss Alabama USA.
During her time with the Robertsons, they spoke about her pageant days, how she struggled with it, and how she overcame those struggles. Korie voiced her concern with beauty pageants because of their objectification of women, so she and daughter Sadie turned the tables around on their husbands. In a sneak peek into the next episode of At Home With The Robertsons, the girls had Willie and Sadie’s husband, Christian Huff compete in their own beauty pageant in their own home, swimsuit competition and all!
Willie made his way down the hallway and into the living room first in black swim trunks and a beefed up look, thanks to store-bought muscles.
“No! That is not fair,” Sadie said when she saw her dad.
“What? Should I have not shaved my chest?” Willie said in jest.
After some laughs, Sadie announced Christian, who walked out in his swim suit and real muscles, which made Willie say, “Good grief!”
“That’s real!” Sadie said, making sure her dad knew.
There was an evening wear portion as well as a talent portion to their beauty pageant, where they will crown one of the two men as “Mr. Bayou.”
Tune in later this week for the full episode and to find out who won the pageant, Willie or Christian.
