Is Duck Dynasty Coming Back?
Willie Robertson recently spoke about a possible revival of his family’s Duck Dynasty series.
Duck Dynasty ran on A&E for 11 seasons from 2012-2017. The series centered on “Duck Commander” Phil Robertson, his wife Miss Kay, and their four sons and their families. Oh, and you can’t forget Uncle Si!
Since Duck Dynasty ended, the Robertsons have maintained an active presence on social media. They also have several podcasts, including Sadie Robertson Huff’s WHOA That’s Good, Phil’s Unashamed, and Uncle Si’s Duck Call Room.
Additionally, some members of the Robertson family have appeared in a new show called Duck Family Treasure, which debuted in 2022.
The Robertson family experienced renewed attention in 2023 when Phil and Kay Robertson’s early story became the subject of the film The Blind. The movie sheds light on the couple’s early struggles and how their faith saved them and their marriage.
Willie Robertson Shares His Thoughts About Reviving Duck Dynasty
Naturally, people have wondered if a Duck Dynasty revival will ever come to fruition. Willie Robertson spoke about that possibility during a recent interview with TV Insider.
The good news…Willie said his family is “looking into some different TV ideas.”
The bad news…those ideas don’t involve a true Duck Dynasty revival.
“…to recapture what we did before is really not gonna happen,” Willie said. “Sadly, everyone’s gotten older, and we’re all in different places now. Our cast has expanded drastically. I have seven grandkids now, so we’ve got some ideas.”

Willie also discussed possibly creating more movies about his family. He and his wife, Korie, produced The Blind.
“I’ve got several different movies,” Willie said. “I just met about all of them. We got some interesting ones… Everything will be positive, I think, in a way, but all kinds of fun stuff.“
