The Fate Of Yellowstone Has Been Confirmed
After months of rumors and unconfirmed reports, Paramount announced that Yellowstone is ending.
The record-breaking series aired its midseason finale in January. It was supposed to return with the second half of Season 5 this summer. But rumors started swirling about drama behind the scenes of the show.
It was alleged that the series’ lead, Kevin Costner, was clashing with creator Taylor Sheridan over his schedule. Reports claimed Costner only wanted to be on set for a week to finish Season 5. Costner’s attorney denied these reports.

Since then, various outlets have shared unconfirmed reports about the show’s future. One report claimed Sheridan is planning to kill off Costner’s character (John Dutton). Another report alleged that Season 5 would be Yellowstone‘s last.
Most recently, a report claimed Costner was planning to leave Yellowstone after Season 5 ended.
But Paramount never addressed those rumors or released any official statement about the series’ fate. Until now.
