For country fans, there’s not too much that can beat a good George Strait song.
This young woman from Texas proved she knew how to pick a good song when she performed at the Wing Barn in Brownsville.
Accompanied by her friend Omar Oyoque on guitar, Madelyn Victoria confidently belted one of Strait’s many number one songs, “You Look So Good In Love.” Victoria first caught our eye with her unique cover of “Folsom Prison Blues” and we’ve been following her YouTube channel ever since.
She loves classic/traditional singers including Cash, Strait, and Merle Haggard, as well as more modern singers like Miranda Lambert and Shania Twain. A true country fan, Victoria often pays tribute to her favorite singers on stage.
Surprisingly, Strait’s 1984 music video for “You Look So Good In Love” was his very first, and Victoria brought the song to life in her own unique way over 20 years later.
