Zac Brown says he doesn’t care how much it will cost to launch his Las Vegas residency, because it will all be worth it.

Earlier this month, Zac Brown Band announced they’ll be releasing their eighth studio album Love & Fear. Following that, they will be heading to Las Vegas at the end of this year for a run of shows at the Las Vegas Sphere.

The band will take the stage at the famous dome arena on December 5, 6, 12, and 13. Due to high demand, they’ve added two more shows on January 9 and 10, bringing their total number of performances there to six.

Zac Brown Band will be only the second country act ever to have a residency at the Sphere. The first was Kenny Chesney, who wrapped up his this past spring.

Performing at the Sphere is a huge deal for any artist, given how exclusive the opportunity is. That’s why the band’s frontman, Zac Brown, is willing to do whatever it takes to make sure it happens.

Zac Brown Says He Is “Going Into Debt” Because Of His Upcoming Residency

In an interview with US Weekly, Brown admitted that this residency is actually putting him in debt.

But the “Chicken Fried” singer isn’t second-guessing whether it’s worth it. He says all the hard work he and his band have put in will pay off, and they’ll get to have their name listed with the legends who have also taken the stage at the Sphere.

“It’s a big moment in time and it’s like, for us, I want to be among the names of the Grateful Dead and the Rolling Stones and the bands that take that lifelong career impact fan journey to be able to do that,” Brown said. “This is our statement to try to step into that.”

So what can fans expect from these special shows?

According to Brown, he wants to create something more meaningful than a typical concert. He plans to share a personal look into his life and the challenges he’s faced along the way.

His goal with these shows is to give fans a rare glimpse into the journey that’s shaped him and the band into who they are today.

“Taking people on a journey through things that are uncomfortable and then creating that dissonance and then that tension and release is really the art of what we’re doing,” he said. “I haven’t seen anything like what we’re doing there. So, it’s really exciting.”

Not only does Zac Brown have his Las Vegas residency to look forward to, but it looks like he may be tying the knot soon as well.

Just last week, he announced his engagement to his girlfriend, Kendra Scott.

The exciting news comes just two months after the couple made their relationship public.
