Holding true to his words, Kid Rock dished out an incredible song that glorifies the small town upbringing and slams those who speak otherwise! The rockstar announced to his fans that, amidst rumors and speculation of him running for Senate, he would be releasing new music during his “campaign”. Taking to social media, he wrote, “Like politicians write books during their campaigns, I’m planning on putting out music during mine and IT ALL STARTS TONIGHT AT MIDNIGHT. It’s not a hoax, it’s a strategy and marketing 101!”

Rock did not disappoint, releasing his new song “Po-Dunk”, accompanied by a kick ass music video that perfectly displayed redneck tendencies and the traits that make these folks the staple of the backwoods. Kicking off his music video in a tiny town just beyond the country, the singer showcased a variety of unique individuals ranging from hot babes in bikinis to hillbillies using their creative bones to craft makeshift pools in their truck beds. Not giving “a flying hillbilly f***”, the kick ass anthem takes a bold approach to a small town raising that is brimming with good ole times and defying societal norms.

Finding values in their family, their mechanical toys, and their guns, these folks are anything but ordinary, as Rock advises his listeners, “Love us if you can/ Sorry if you can’t/ Holler if you’re in/ Shut up if you ain’t.” The new release had fans reeling over Rock’s explosive lyrics and bad ass footage, praising the singer for giving the country folks a song to signify their immense pride in their daily adventures and values.
