13 random strangers went viral on TikTok after their flight from Orlando, Florida to Knoxville, Tennessee got canceled and they resorted to renting a 15-passenger van to travel 10 hours to make it to their destination.

Alanah Story posted the video on her TikTok not thinking anything of it and was surprised when her video started getting hundreds of thousands of views.

The cancelation happened on Sunday, Dec 4 after their Frontier Airline flight was delayed twice before eventually getting canceled leaving them all to have to figure out how they were going to get to Tennessee.

“They were like, ‘Well, we can get you out on the next flight, which is Tuesday night,'” Michelle Miller told TODAY. “That’s like 48 hours later! We can’t wait two days to go back, people have things to do!”

While everyone waited at the airport near the service center, one woman named Amy took charge and shouted to everyone who wanted to try driving to Knoxville in a rented 15-passenger van could join her.

“The line was super long. I was like, ‘I’m just gonna let my mom handle it,'” Alanah Story told TODAY with a laugh. “And so she yells over at me and she’s like, ‘Alanah, we’re headed downstairs to get this van with all these people!'”

Alanah follows along filming a video introducing everyone and they soon loaded their belongings into the back of the van and hit the road.

Along the way and to Alanah’s surprise, her post starts to go viral which gets everyone in the van laughing and getting loud.

“So we post the video and, like, we’re not really thinking anything’s gonna come of it. But within, like, 30 minutes, it is starting to get hundreds of thousands of views,” Story explains, adding it ended up being a “very, very noisy ride. People in the van are refreshing my page the entire time. They’re like, ‘Oh my gosh, we’re at this many views’ … and they’re reading the comments out loud the whole time,” she says laughing. “I slept maybe max 20 minutes.”

Along the way, Alanah decides since her post is getting so much attention, she starts filming updated videos and posting them to let the audience see more of the trip and how everyone is doing during pitstops of the journey.

They eventually got to their destination on December 5th the next morning around 8:30am and everyone was tired but happy to be in Knoxville.
