A new batch of Champions was vying for the show’s top title in 2020. Jordan was one of those aspiring Champions.
For her performance, Jordan chose to deliver a cover of the Queen classic, “Bohemian Rhapsody.” Queen appears to be a favorite artist of hers, as she previously covered their song “The Show Must Go On” on her cover channel on YouTube.
So when Jordan prepared to sing “Bohemian Rhapsody” on The Champions, she had already proven to be an expert at singing Queen’s music. And anyone who has heard either “Bohemian Rhapsody” or “The Show Must Go On” knows they are not easy songs to perform.
But Jordan rose to the challenge, and delivered a dynamic cover of “Bohemian Rhapsody” that impressed all of the AGT judges. She left a strong impression on Heidi Klum in particular, who had just returned to the AGT circuit after taking Season 14 off.
Elated after the other judges stopped talking, Klum called Jordan’s performance “amazing” before jumping up to slam the golden buzzer for her.
For those who don’t know, each judge can press the golden buzzer once, and in doing so, they send that respective contestant straight to an advanced stage of the competition.
Jordan covered her face in response as she started to tear up. She was clearly overwhelmed by Klum’s faith in her and her talent.
Tune in to the video below to see Jordan’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” cover that stole Klum’s heart and earned a golden buzzer. This girl’s talent is out of this world!
