Green Day Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and actress Shailene Woodley have certainly had a whirlwind romance.
Seven months after Rodgers’ split from former racer Danica Patrick, news broke that the football star had gotten engaged to Woodley. The actress confirmed the news on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. Woodley also revealed that the couple had already been engaged “for a while.”

With a wedding on the horizon, Rodgers admitted that he is already thinking about the future. The football star appeared on Instagram Live with Zenith Watches and explained his “next great challenge will be being a father.”
“I’m in that age group where a lot of my close friends from high school and college are fathers now and have families of their own. It’s maybe not in the immediate future but definitely something that I really look forward to,” Rodgers explained in the interview. “I’ve done a pretty good job at taking care of myself for the last 37 years and look forward to taking care of another life at some point too. I just think it’s going to be so fun.”

Rodgers has “dreamt about” starting a family for a while. Still, he wants the transition into fatherhood to be very natural. Right now, he is enjoying his engagement, which he calls “best thing that’s happened” in the past year.
