Mike Wolfe also shared the heartbreaking news in an online tribute. Mike reflects that he has known his friend and co-star for more than half of his life and says:

“What you’ve seen on TV has always been what I have seen, a dreamer who was just as sensitive as he was funny. The same off camera as he was on, Frank had a way of reaching the hearts of so many by just being himself.”

Frank Fritz suffered a stroke in 2022

In the summer of 2022, Frank Fritz suffered a stroke and subsequent hospitalization, which left him demobilized. His health appeared to deteriorate in the time since, but no official cause of death has been released.

Frank maintained a very low profile, but in November 2023, was spotted in public for the first time following the stroke. He was photographed enjoying a night out with friends at Iron Horse Social Club, a pub and restaurant in Savanna, Illinois.
