The 2024 Country Music Association Awards Are Getting Some “Bell-Bottom Flair” With This Year’s New Host, Lainey Wilson
Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning have graced the CMA stage for two years. The duo spent most of their first year hosting together in 2022 joking about whether football or country music is better.
The opening monologue included quips about Luke’s 2021 hosting abilities and how he “needed a co-host.”

The pair’s obvious chemistry in 2022 brought them back to host the 2023 CMA awards. Some of the highlights of their second year hosting together include joking that they were only there because Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce“were not available.”

The Newest Host, Lainey Wilson
Lainey Wilson will be the third host for the 2024 CMA Awards.
Wilson, Manning, and Bryan got together for a hilarious host announcement. The announcement opens with Manning and Bryan discussing their excitement about hosting together again. They are in a red car on their way to Nashville, and they begin to sing; then Wilson pops up, causing Bryan to scream hysterically.
Bryan deserves an award for his high-pitched scream alone. He is pictured below.

Once Wilson pops up and “scares” the men, she explains that she will go with them to host the CMAs. The jokes continue with Wilson saying the reason she is joining the duo is so that she can bring her “bell-bottom flair” to the CMA stage.
