Luke Bryan Shares A Sweet Glimpse Into His Family Life At ACM Honors

Luke Bryan’s family grew by three in 2015 when his brother-in-law tragically passed away, leaving three kids, Til, Jordan, and Kris, without their parents. Bryan’s sister, the kids’ mother, had passed seven years prior due to still unknown circumstances.

With the three kids’ parents gone, Bryan and his wife didn’t think twice and immediately adopted his nephew and two nieces.

Bryan has two biological kids with his wife, Caroline Bryan:  Thomas “Bo” Boyer Bryan and Tatum “Tate” Christopher Bryan. Both boys are now in their teens, but they were young when their family grew by three nearly ten years ago, and it was a big transition. Bryan addressed his family change during a 2015 PEOPLE  interview. He said this about his new blended family:

“Bo went from being kind of the alpha male to being the middle child, but he takes it in stride, It’s been amazing watching them do so well with it. They treat Til like their brother, and Til does the same. And that’s what’s funny, is Til went from being the baby of his family to being the oldest. It’s definitely been a social experiment.”

Bryan could not help but gush about his sweet new addition to the family by saying he is “just precious” to the ACM Honors reporter. Bryan went on to say that Jordan’s first child was born premature, so it has been excellent for the couple with their second born to“not have to worry about the challenges that come with having a premature baby.”
