Post Malone Earns His First CMA Award Nominations

The Nominees For The 2024 CMA Awards Were Announced On Monday, September 9

Less than one month after releasing his debut country album, F-1 Trillion, Post Malone has earned his first CMA Award nominations.

The 58th annual CMA Awards will be held on Wednesday, November 20, at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. This year’s ceremony will air live on ABC at 8/7c. Fans can also watch the program on Hulu the following day.

The CMA has not revealed this year’s hosts or performers as of press time. But announcements concerning those details will come at a later date.

Nominees for the 2024 CMA Awards were announced on Monday morning (September 9). Morgan Wallen led with the highest number of nominations, seven in total. Cody Johnson and Chris Stapleton earned five nominations each, while Lainey Wilson earned four.

Lainey’s “Nosedive” duet partner Post Malone also earned four nominations, scoring his first CMA nods in the process.

In fact, Post Malone is one of the most nominated artists at the upcoming CMA Awards. He received nominations in the following categories:

Music Video of the Year for “I Had Some Help”

Musical Event of the Year for “I Had Some Help”

Song of the Year for serving as a songwriter on “I Had Some Help”

Single of the Year for “I Had Some Help”

Post Malone’s country album, F-1 Trillion, was not eligible for nomination this year. The CMA stated that this year’s eligibility period stretched from July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2024. F-1 Trillion debuted on August 16.

But the album will be eligible for next year’s CMA Awards, so stay tuned to see if Post Malone earns another nomination or two in 2025.
