Gretchen Wilson made a notable appearance at a rally in Mosinee, Wisconsin, alongside Donald Trump. Taking the stage to endorse the former President, Wilson urged Americans to “vote for freedom” in the upcoming election.
Support From The Country Music Community
The “Redneck Woman” singer is not alone in her support. Several other country music figures, such as Jason Aldean, Travis Tritt, Kid Rock, and John Rich, have also voiced their backing for Trump. In July, Aldean attended the 2024 RNC (Republican National Convention) in support of his longtime friend. Both Aldean and his wife, Brittany, sat next to Trump in his exclusive MAGA friends and family box.
Gretchen Wilson Endorses Donald Trump
On Saturday (September 7) afternoon, former President Donald Trump held a rally in Mosinee, Wisconsin, as part of his campaign against Vice President Kamala Harris. Country music star Gretchen Wilson attended the event and took the stage to express her support for Trump.
“I’m a midwesterner. I come from a very small town in southern Illinois. I grew up very much like Senator JD Vance. I had to work hard and fight my way out of poverty just like many other Americans have done, but this is what I was taught to do: To earn my way,” Wilson shared.
Her message was clear: she encouraged the audience to understand the importance of the upcoming election and support candidates she sees as honest.
“As a songwriter, I pay close attention to words. The words that are being used and the words that are not being used. I urge all Americans to pay close attention to what you are hearing and not hearing from the media because the issues that are most important for our survival are what we’re voting on.
I’m here today to show my support for the only team in this race that is telling the truth…the American dream that I have been fortunate enough to find will almost certainly be lost forever if we do not show up and vote for freedom in November. It is on us,” Wilson ended.
