Their New Song, “Just Believe,” Will Be Released On Friday, March 13

Earlier this year, Christian artist Brandon Lake hosted a faith-based songwriting retreat for 25 country artists.

From that retreat, Brandon said that a staggering 42 songs were written.

Among those who were in attendance at the retreat was country singer Bailey Zimmerman, who was seen in video from this five-day retreat singing a song with Brandon.

While it’s not clear what song that was, it’s certainly not a coincidence that Bailey and Brandon have a new song coming out, titled “Just Believe.”

This Friday, March 13, “Just Believe” will be released, but fans of Brandon Lake at his March 8 show in Detroit, Michigan, got to hear the song early as Bailey Zimmerman joined him on stage for a lively performance.

Watch Brandon Lake And Bailey Zimmerman Perform “Just Believe”

On March 8, Brandon Lake’s King of Hearts Tour stopped in Detroit, Michigan, playing for a full house at Little Caesars Arena.

There, the chart-topping Christian artist surprised the audience with a special guest: Bailey Zimmerman.

Together, the two went into a performance of a new song, titled “Just Believe.”

The song’s verses list different things that once defined those who believe in Christ, with the lyrics stating, “I’ve been a rebel, thought I had something left to prove. Fought with the devil, done things I wish I didn’t do.”

The chorus then provides a solution to those past transgressions, declaring, “Trust me, I know, I’ve been down that road. Take it from a broken soul like me: Just believe.”

Bailey Zimmerman Makes A $10,000 Charitable Donation Before Singing Duet Of “Religiously” With Brandon Lake

Sitting down after singing their new song, “Just Believe,” Brandon and Bailey shared about a cause close to their hearts.

World Vision is “a faith-based global charity” that strives to end poverty and spread the Gospel. One of its biggest initiatives is a child sponsorship program, with World Vision’s website stating that for “$39 a month, you’ll help that child and other vulnerable children in their community to stand tall, free from poverty.”

Humorously, Brandon stated that he and Bailey were workin out together at the Detroit Lions’ facility, and said they made a bet… Ultimately, Bailey lost.

“I got my butt whooped,” Bailey told the audience. “Now, I have to donate $2,000 to World Vision, but $2,000 is way too low, so I’m going to up it to $10,000.”

Upon hearing this, the crowd went wild, and Bailey’s announcement about his donation can be seen here:

They also performed a duet of Bailey’s 2023 song “Religiously,” which a portion of can be seen, here:
