Beloved Actress, Glenne Headly, Dead At 63

In the middle of production of her latest film project, this longtime cherished American actress has tragically passed away at just 63 years old.

An iconic figure in many award-winning movies and television shows, Glenne Headly truly crafted a legacy of work that has brought joy and happiness to so many people. A star of films like Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Dick Tracy, Mr. Holland’s Opus, Mortal Thoughts, and television shows like ER and Monk, Headly was a multi-talented actress that never ceased to amaze audiences.

Most recently, Headly was co-starring with Josh Hutcherson and Ed Begley Jr.  in a Hulu comedy series called Future Man. According to Rolling Stone, the show was still in production when she passed away.

Headly’s breakthrough acting role was in the 1988 blockbuster film, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, which she starred in with Steve Martin and Michael Caine as the heiress from which the two are trying to swindle $50,000 from. Through the years that followed, she crafted a legacy of film and TV credits that include nearly 80 separate projects, many of which are widely known pop culture phenomenons.

Fellow actors and industry greats have expressed their deep condolences and feelings of loss on social media following the news of her death, which was confirmed by her representative to Deadline.
