Blake Shelton is proud of his wife Gwen Stefani‘s newest song!
Stefani released a new tune, titled “True Babe” on Friday (June 23). She started teasing the song a few days prior. It was even featured in the video she shared for Shelton’s birthday/Father’s Day on June 18.

What Does Blake Shelton Think Of Wife Gwen Stefani’s New Song?
Shelton made his thoughts about “True Babe” known following its release. As you’d expect, he’s a huge fan!
He gushed about the song on social media, saying:
“My wife put out a new song today.. you know… THE GWEN STEFANI!!!!!!! Go listen people!!!! It’s a hit!!!!! I’m so proud of you @gwenstefani!!!”
Shelton followed up with a further expression of support. He posted a video of himself working outside at home in Oklahoma, and said he’d been singing “True Babe” constantly.
“Playing the S— out of @gwenstefani’s new song “True Babe”!!! Even writing new lyrics!!” he said.
He showcased those new lyrics, which were all about a tree he was chopping up. Too funny!

As you listen to “True Babe,” it’s incredibly obvious it’s about Shelton. Stefani mentions his tattoo, his truck, and his nickname for her, which is “pretty girl.”
Now we’re just hoping that Shelton and Stefani will release another duet. They already have four, and two of them were number one hits!
