While food is an important part of Thanksgiving, many would agree that the best part of the holiday is the time spent with loved ones. It seems that Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani feel the same, since they enjoyed a Thanksgiving surrounded by people they love, including each other.
This year, Shelton and Stefani spent their Thanksgiving in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. Shelton’s mother, Dorothy, was there to celebrate the occasion with them. Stefani shared a sweet snapshot of her and Shelton with Dorothy, and their smiles are infectious!
Stefani’s father Dennis, and her three sons, Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo were also at the couple’s Thanksgiving gathering. It seems that Shelton and Stefani made sure to surround themselves with the people they are most thankful for in their lives!
As sweet as their family snapshot with Shelton’s mother was, the couple posed for an even more adorable photo earlier in the evening. Stefani also shared this photo to her Instagram, which shows the couple engaging in a little bit of PDA that’s too cute to handle.
The photo shows Shelton planting a sweet smooch on Stefani while she cuddles up close to him. However, someone seemed to be poking fun at the couple, as an unidentified guest held their hand up in front of Shelton and Stefani’s faces.
Still, the photobomb didn’t ruin the cuteness of the snapshot! Stefani wrote in the caption how thankful she and Shelton are for their fans, saying, “Happy thanksgiving. We love u sooooooo grateful !!!!”
Besides having each other, Shelton and Stefani have a lot of other things to be thankful for this year. Stefani’s album, This Is What the Truth Feels Like, claimed the top spot on the Billboard 200 following its release. Shelton experienced a similar level of success with his album, If I’m Honest, which topped the Billboard Country Albums chart and peaked at the third spot on the Billboard 200.
If I’m Honest contained the number one single “Came Here to Forget” and the Top 10 hit “She’s Got a Way With Words.” The album’s third single, “A Guy With a Girl,” was released in September, and is currently climbing up the charts.
But one song that generated a lot of attention from Shelton’s album hasn’t been released as a single yet. That song, called “Go Ahead and Break My Heat,” is actually a duet between Shelton and Stefani. The two co-wrote the romantic tune, and have performed it many times since Shelton released his album.
