Blake Shelton Reacts To Not Knowing Gwen Stefani's Song "Hollaback Girl"

Blake Shelton Reacts To Not Knowing Gwen Stefani’s Song “Hollaback Girl”

The Kelly Clarkson Show / YouTube

In a recent episode of Coach Kelly Clarkson’s talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, all of The Voice coaches came together to compete in a song lyric game called “Throw Me A Line.”

It was John Legend and Kelly Clarkson competing against Nick Jonas and Blake Shelton. If Nick and Blake won, the men in the audience would get a prize. If John and Kellly won, a prize went to the women. A couple of lyrics from different songs would be read and each team had to guess first the title and artist of the song.

Clarkson scored on the first round by identifying Garth Brook’s hit “Friends In Low Places.” Legend assisted Clarkson with the next song which was Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody.”

For the third song, Jonas was able to guess The Jackson 5’s “ABC,” while Shelton sipped on a beverage out of a red solo cup. He did, however, pull his weight by correctly guessing Kenny Loggins’ “Footloose.”

Things took a turn for Shelton when Clarkson beat him at guessing a song that he probably should’ve known. The tune turned out to be Gwen Stefani’s hit song from 2004 “Hollaback Girl” and his reaction was hilarious.
