The 22nd season of The Voice is about to premiere, and Blake Shelton (and host Carson Daly) has been part of every single season.
While doing press for the new season with his fellow coaches John Legend, Camila Cabello, and Gwen Stefani, Shelton has been asked lots of questions about competing against his wife, among other things.
In a sit-down interview with Extra TV, Shelton was asked if he ever thinks about walking away.
He spoke about how each season is different because there’s always someone new being introduced to the show, so that is what keeps him coming back, no two seasons are ever the same.
He added, “As long as they have those home shopping channels and I can watch those and figure out new ideas to sell their same cr*p over and over again, then I’ll be prepared.”
Comparing his spiels during Blind Auditions to home shopping networks made the other three coaches crack up, but also completely understand where he was coming from.

The new season premieres on Monday, September 19 and they have already shared the first four-chair turn with Morgan Myles’ chilling performance of “Hallelujah.”
