The ACM Awards Celebrate Their 60th Anniversary
The 60th ACM Awards were held Thursday night (May 8) at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas.
Reba McEntire served as the returning host during the event. This was McEntire’s 18th time hosting the award show.

Country music’s biggest stars gathered for the special night, which was filled with incredible performances and well-deserved nominations across all award categories.
Many fan-favorite artists walked away as winners, including the recipients of the 2025 ACM Duo of the Year award.
The nominees this year for Duo of the Year were:
- Brooks & Dunn Brothers
- Osborne
- Dan + Shay
- Muscadine Bloodline
- The War and Treaty
Most nominees aren’t new to this category. Many have even taken home the trophy multiple times.
Brooks & Dunn have won the award more than a dozen times since 1991.
Brothers Osborne picked up the title four times between 2016 and 2023.
Dan + Shay are no strangers either. They won the award at last year’s ceremony, along with securing the win for three consecutive years from 2017 to 2020.
Husband and wife duo The War And Treaty are one of the newest acts in the category, earning their first nomination for Duo of the Year just last year. It was also their very first ACM nomination overall, and they made history as the first Black artists to ever be recognized in that category.
Last but not least, newcomers Muscadine Bloodline round out this year’s lineup of nominees. The duo is relatively new to the country music scene, and this marks their very first ACM nomination. It’s a major milestone for them, especially considering they’re up against some of the genre’s most well-known performers.

Brooks & Dunn!
This is their first win in the category in 15 years, last claiming victory in 2010. Additionally, Brooks & Dunn remain the most awarded duo in history.
