Bud Light Debuts New Frozen Margarita For Summer

The Freeze-A-Rita is Bud Light’s new take on the popsicles we all had growing up as kids. But unlike the frozen snack of your childhood summers, Bud Light is taking their version of a popsicle to a whole new level. Filled with booze, the Freeze-A-Rita comes in two different margarita flavors: Lime-A-Rita and Straw-Ber-Rita. Since these are packaged just like a popsicle, there’s no need to bust out the blender when you get that margarita craving.

These adult popsicles come in a case of 12 and are evenly divided between Lime-A-Rita and Straw-Ber-Rita flavors. Each popsicle has 8% alcohol by volume.

Bud Light’s Freeze-A-Rita’s are actually the first spinoff from the Bud Light Lime which was simply lime added to their original beer.

Along with the Freeze-A-Rita, this season Bud Light also introduced their new lemonade drink. In March, Bud Light Lemonade started popping up on store shelves across the country. A take on the classic German drink known as a Radler, which is made from half beer and half lemonade, the Bud Light Lemonade has 4.2% ABV and comes in 25-ounce cans, sold in 12 packs.

The Freeze-A-Rita’s were set to debut sometime before May. However, the coronavirus seems to have delayed these summer treats from getting to the shelves in stores. If you can’t wait, watch the video below to learn how to make your own delicious margarita!
