Carly Pearce Is Asking Fans To Keep Her In Their Prayers As She Deals With A “Frustrating” Health Issue
Carly Pearce shared a health update on her social media, asking fans to keep her in their thoughts as she takes time to recover.
On Wednesday, June 4, Pearce shared on her Instagram story that she’s currently dealing with a vocal strain.
“I’m still dealing with this very frustrating vocal strain & would appreciate all the prayers and good vibes that I get back to 100%!” she wrote along with a photo that appeared to be taken inside a doctor’s office.
Vocal strain can be especially tough for someone like Pearce, who relies on her voice for her job. According to Penn Medicine, it happens when the muscles and vocal cords are overused or injured. This makes it hard to sing or even speak.
“Thankful for the voice doctors helping me to feel back to myself again. I’m ready to SING,” she added.

Pearce Has Always Been Open With Her Fans About Her Health
Just last year, she revealed she had been diagnosed with a heart condition, and she’s been sharing her journey to manage it ever since.
The singer struggles with pericarditis, a condition that occurs when the thin, saclike tissue surrounding the heart becomes swollen and irritated.
It wasn’t an easy diagnosis at first. Pearce has shared that many doctors dismissed her symptoms early on, but she was persistent in getting answers.
The “we don’t talk anymore” singer said she kept listening to her body and knew something wasn’t right, which eventually led to getting the correct diagnosis.
Hopefully, Pearce will be back to feeling like herself in the next few days. Her next scheduled show is this weekend, June 7, at Nashville’s CMA Fest.
She’s set to take the main stage at Nissan Stadium for a special performance with Rascal Flatts.
